- 3 T. butter
- ½ cup flour
- ½ t. salt
- ⅛ t. dry mustard
- dash cayenne pepper
- ¾ t. Worcestershire sauce
- 3 cups milk
- ½ pound sharp cheddar cheese, grated
DIRECTIONS
- In a double broiler, melt butter. Stir in flour, salt, mustard, cayenne, Worcestershire, and then milk; soak stirring until thickened and smooth.
- Add cheese, cook stirring occasionally until melted.
- Serve over toast points.
