- 1 cup rice
- ½ medium onion, finely chopped
- 3 cans consommé soup
- ¼ cup dry sherry
- ½ t. seasoned salt
- ¼ t. black pepper
- small amount of cooking oil
DIRECTIONS
- Place small amount of cooking oil in bottom of medium sized pan. Add chopped onions and sauté over medium heat for few minutes.
- Add uncooked rice. With wooden spoon stir and brown the rice.
- Add consommé soup and dry sherry. Add seasoned salt and black pepper.
- When bubbly, lover heat and cook on low heat until liquid is absorbed.
