- ½ cup molasses
- 1½ cup butter
- 2 egg
- 2½ cup sugar
- 4 t. baking soda
- ¼ t. baking powder
- 4 cups flour
- 1 t. ground cloves
- 1 t. ground ginger
- 1 t. salt
- 2 t. ground cinnamon
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Soften butter until almost melted.
- Combine wet in one bowl and dry ingredients in another.
- Mix all together.
- Cover and refrigerate dough for an hour.
- Roll into 1 oz. balls and bake for 10 min.
